About Our Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our Accounts Payable and Indirect Taxes functions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing AP lifecycle, TDS and GST compliances, particularly regarding Input Tax Credit claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire AP process, including invoice processing, expense booking, vendor reconciliation, and payment runs
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDORS AND RESOLVE ISSUES PROMPTLY
  • Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies

Tax Compliance:

  • Oversee all aspects of GST compliance, focusing on maximizing and correctly claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC)
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of GSTR-2B with Purchase Register and take timely action on discrepancies
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B) and annual returns (GSTR-9, 9C) as applicable

Tally Implementation & Process Improvement:

  • Design and implement efficient workflows and processes for AP and tax compliance using Tally
  • Drive projects for process automation, reporting enhancements, and better control mechanisms, particularly for GST and TDS reporting

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounts professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field; Professional certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 4-5 years progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
