Our Team is Seeking a Highly Skilled Financial Analyst

We are looking for an accomplished and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and investigations. They will also track and settle AR and AP balances, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. They will work closely with tax teams to manage federal, state, and local taxes and fees, as well as partner with corporate accounting teams to enhance efficiency and standardization of intercompany processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-volume transactions environments. You will also need to have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and investigations.
  • Track and settle AR and AP balances, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Process billback corrections and ensure accurate intercompany reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with tax teams to manage federal, state, and local taxes and fees.
  • Partner with corporate accounting teams to enhance efficiency and standardization of intercompany processes.
  • Participate in system testing and ERP upgrades related to intercompany functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-volume transactions environments.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and project accounting principles, GAAP, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Understanding of business operations for accurate expense coding.
  • Experience with real estate accounting and ERP systems like Oracle, Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, RealPage, or SAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions and requests.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to new processes.
