We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Commercial Excellence (Functional Ingredients) function as Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional strategic initiatives, reinforcing pricing excellence strategies, analytics, and best practices. You will play a crucial role in enabling strategic decision-making for leadership by providing accurate and timely pricing analysis and improve price realization through high accuracy price execution within our commercial IT systems.



Your Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all pricing-related inquiries within assigned Business Segment(s).
  • Own the end-to-end process of pricing analysis, from data collection to strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Support Global/Regional Product Manager(s) in the respective segment(s) in developing and executing the right pricing strategy tailored for the product line and geography.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to facilitate effective pricing decisions.
  • Monitor and update pricing to reflect changes in the market or company strategy.
  • Provide recommendations to management on pricing actions based on analysis and insights.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing execution, pricing operations, policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies for new products or services.


Requirements

University degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced degree. Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in pricing analytics or a related role, background in the food ingredients industry is preferred. A highly motivated individual with strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional analytical skills and excellent problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in MS Office, along with experience with commercial systems such as PowerBI, CPQ etc. Experience with advanced data analytics tools like Tableau, SQL, and Python is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to work autonomously, build relationships, and collaborate effectively across diverse geographies and cultures in a matrixed organization.
