Telecom Network Audit Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned telecom professional to conduct internal audits of telecom network elements, identify and evaluate risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in telecom network technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G, as well as transmission technologies (Microwave, FTTH, DWDM), and core networks (Circuit-Switched and Packet-Switched).
  • Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with telecom network operations, including risk assessment and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting internal audits of telecom network elements to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  2. Identifying and evaluating risks associated with telecom network operations and proposing effective mitigation strategies and controls.
  3. Preparing detailed reports for stakeholders and management highlighting key audit outcomes.
  4. Liaising effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field (Network Planning, Design or Operation), preferable in internal audit, consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Industry.
  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders and management.
Desired Profile:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations.
