About the Role



This is a highly sought-after opportunity for a seasoned Sr. Program Manager to drive innovative payment solutions delivery for Amazon's growing global payee population. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge payment solutions that meet the needs of our diverse payee base.



With a strong focus on exceptional payee experience and optimal payment solution delivery, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, leveraging technology, and ensuring seamless execution of payment programs. Your ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential in achieving business growth and optimization.



Key Responsibilities





  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to manage payment services effectively, ensuring seamless execution of payment programs.

  • Identify process and technology improvements that can be leveraged across regions or globally within AP and drive implementation, optimizing payment solutions for our growing payee population.

  • Define and drive both immediate and long-term solutions for payment escalations/complex payment use cases, ensuring exceptional payee experience.

  • Work with regional payments operations teams to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging technology and process improvements to drive business growth.

  • Lead root cause identification and consensus on process enhancements, driving continuous improvement and innovation in payment solutions.

  • Manage cross-functional efforts in regulated markets with out-of-the-box payment solutions, ensuring compliance and effective execution.

  • Communicate effectively to Sr. leadership of Finance groups, various business teams, Tech teams, and external banking partners, providing regular updates on payment program progress and results.



About the Team



This role will be part of a truly global team, driving conversations with stakeholders from various parts of the business. We innovate on behalf of the payee and implement new payment solutions, providing scalable processes and technology for business growth and needs. We are always on the lookout for more optimization in payments and are customer-obsessed in our approach.



Requirements





  • 5+ years of program or project management experience, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements, driving business growth and optimization.

  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of delivering cross-functional projects experience, with a strong focus on results-driven execution and process improvement.



Preferred Qualifications





  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience, with a strong focus on leveraging technology and data to drive business growth.

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field, with a strong focus on strategic thinking and leadership.

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization, with a strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.

  • Experience defining business requirements and helping identify solutions through both process improvement and technology, with a strong focus on results-driven execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities, with a strong focus on quality and results.

  • Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements, with a strong ability to analyze data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
