About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our international payments strategy and execution. As a key member of our Product Team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive payment strategy that drives market expansion and optimizes payment processes across global markets, with a primary focus on India and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a global payment strategy that prioritizes India and Southeast Asia, driving market expansion and optimizing payment processes.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with payment providers and financial institutions to enhance our global payment offerings.
  • Expand and integrate new payment methods to cater to diverse customer preferences in each market, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Oversee monetization strategies, including tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, compliance, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and operation of payment solutions across markets.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product development and ensure that our payment solutions meet the needs of customers in different regions.
About You:
  • You have over 8 years of experience shipping products and features for a consumer technology company, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in international payments.
  • You have specific experience with India and South East Asian payment landscapes.
  • You have a proven track record in transaction flows, ecommerce, and checkout systems.
  • You have expertise in driving strategic growth for subscription and streaming service products.
  • You have experience in KPI reporting and ownership of metric reporting processes.
  • You have extensive experience working with global payment processing systems.
  • You have excellent product judgment, with the ability to make sound judgments based on tradeoffs of different solutions, complex problems, various partners, and many constraints.
  • You have experience writing detailed product specs and documentation.
  • You have experience managing multiple simultaneous projects effectively.
  • You have experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
