Expert Payroll Specialist Required

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume responsibility for our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to apply domain knowledge to solve complex issues.

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with implementation and support in weekly/monthly/bi-weekly payroll processes is required.
  • Strong communication skills for understanding client requirements, business discussion, solution recommendations for production issues and enhancements are essential.
  • Close collaboration with US teams and clients is necessary to ensure end-to-end payroll management.
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy while running payroll is paramount.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Processing stop payments and re-issue as required.
  2. Wage garnishment deduction setup administration based on order.
  3. Monitoring and handling ACH rejects.
  4. Researching payroll tickets/query.
  5. Payroll state registration (SIT/UI/local taxes if required).
  6. Preparing final check (termination) based on state compliances.
  7. Experience in implementing and maintaining QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks etc.
  8. Producing various required payroll reports from respective systems.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong time and priority management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
  • Knowledge of Form 940, 941, W-4, W-2, I-9, FICA, SUTA etc.
  • A good understanding of health benefits, 401k, state tax filing (SIT/UI), TPA administration, workers comp insurance (including monopolistic states) etc.
  • Knowledge of gross-up/non-gross up bonus/commissions.
  • Understanding of overtime calculation based on respective state guidelines.
