Job Title: Database Infrastructure Specialist

Our team is seeking an experienced Database Infrastructure Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and management of our database infrastructure.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage complex database systems
  • Ensure database performance, security, and availability
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions into larger applications
  • Develop and maintain scripts, procedures, and other database-related tools

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Experience with performance tuning, clustering, replication, and backup/restore processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Redgate SQL Monitor and SQL Backup
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration
  • Previous experience working in a financial services organization
  • Experience with migrating between versions of SQL Server
