Lead Financial Operations

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced finance professional to lead our financial operations.

  • Direct the financial function and ensure efficient handling of cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and implement financial plans to ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure compliance with tax laws including GST, TDS, TCS, ESI & PF, and oversee all statutory filings.
  2. Manage insurance policies for company assets and employees.
  3. Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
  4. Review and finalize ledgers and financial records.
  5. Coordinate with auditors and external agencies for audits and financial reviews.
  6. Ensure financial tasks are completed within internal timelines and statutory deadlines.
  7. Maintain accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality in all financial matters.
  8. Support the implementation and usage of financial software/tools.
  9. Resolve escalated issues related to payments, invoices, and compliance.
  10. Prepare bank proposals and financial ratios as per banking guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial software (Tally ERP, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 5–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or railway industry.
