Job Title: Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to conduct final tests for semiconductor equipment and qualify them. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for engineering to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct FAT tests, execute checklists and procedures, and ensure completion on schedule.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data from these tests.
  • Apply troubleshooting methods to eliminate equipment malfunctions.
  • Record process documentation and production data meticulously.
  • Refine process recipes based on test results and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with PID tuning (conventional and advanced methods).
  • Conduct DOE's for improving or optimizing product design or problem-solving or manufacturing processes.
  • Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks with safety measures.
  • Good understanding of air- or liquid-based instruments used in piping.
  • Interpret PNID diagrams and make tweaks if required.
  • Handle gases like CDA, N2, and helium, and added advantage if handled process chemistry.
  • Experience with Kawasaki robots, Load ports, aligner, and Ionizer bar.
  • Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms.
  • Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision and care.
  • Experience with tool leveling.
  • Verify Lock-out / Tag-out properly with other team members.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software.
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Able to work in cleanroom environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coach team members on mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment.
  • Write daily reports and present them to the team, supervisor, and manager.
  • Give input on peers during yearly reviews.
  • Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/process.
  • Substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in equipment engineering in semiconductor, solar, or LED industry.
  • Experience in final test areas.
  • Ability to read electrical, electronic, and mechanical drawings.
  • CAD, Solid work, and inventor knowledge is a plus.
  • Some software, PLC knowledge and understanding is a plus.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronics troubleshooting down to component level.
  • Understanding of vacuum, thermal, and chemical vapor deposition systems.
  • Lean manufacturing skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
