The role of a HR Risk Lead involves leading risk management activities within the HR function and embedding risk management in all aspects of HR work. The job requires designing the strategy and work plan for the function, ensuring all activities are delivered against that plan, and leading on functional and leadership communications.

The successful candidate will represent HR within centralized risk management forums and projects, providing HR risk management insight into central programs to ensure work driven into HR is proportionate and appropriate. They'll be responsible for interpreting central requests and facilitating delivery of required work within HR.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing new risk related programs of work to address emerging strategic HR risk management issues
  • Leading on resolution; and representing risk management and compliance on internal HR projects
  • Owning controls testing for HR; provision of related assurance and tracking remediation and control/documentation improvements
  • Ensuring HR compliance through continued evolution of compliance programs/controls and challenging processes/activities through testing

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Masters/Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years experience in Project management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in HR Risk
  • 8+ years experience in Risk or Audit Management
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
