Early Years Program Director Position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Early Years Program Director at our esteemed institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Early Years program, ensuring it aligns with international best practices and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and experience in managing teams. They will be responsible for overseeing the academic and operational aspects of the program, implementing the IB Early Years Programme framework, and mentoring and managing the early years teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee all academic and operational aspects of the Early Years program.
  • Implement and monitor the IB Early Years Programme framework, aligned with international best practices and inquiry-based learning.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the early years teaching team to ensure excellence in teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Foster a culturally responsive environment, recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds of the student body.
  • Collaborate with the PYP Coordinator, curriculum leaders, and school leadership to align goals across the continuum.
  • Maintain strong engagement with parents through regular communication, workshops, and community events.
  • Drive school improvement initiatives through research, innovation, and reflective practices in Early Years education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with Certifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Min 5+ years of experience in leadership roles in Early Years or Preschool settings.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing an international curriculum in IB PYP (Early Years) and/or Cambridge IGCSE environments.
  • Experience in international schools and multicultural classrooms.
  • Preferred experience working overseas or with international communities.
  • Foreign Nationals with leadership experience in top-tier international schools are highly encouraged to apply.
