Job Title: Real Estate Development Manager

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of real estate development projects—from conceptualization and planning through design, permitting, construction, and completion.

This position requires exceptional leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage timelines, budgets, consultants, contractors, and regulatory approvals for successful, profitable, and timely project delivery aligned with strategic objectives.

  • Project Planning & Management: Manage end-to-end development activities from feasibility to delivery. Prepare and maintain detailed project development plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Design and Approvals: Coordinate design development with architects and consultants to ensure compliance with local codes, functional needs, and project goals. Obtain all required regulatory, environmental, and municipal approvals and permits.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop project budgets and monitor actual expenditures vs. forecast. Evaluate construction cost estimates and value engineering proposals.
  • Construction Oversight: Liaise with construction teams or general contractors to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld on site.
  • Risk Management & Reporting: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare and present regular progress, cost, and risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, authorities, and community stakeholders. Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract administration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably with experience in real estate development or construction project management. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field is essential. 12 years of experience in real estate development or construction project management are required. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Required Skills: Project management, budgeting, cost control, construction oversight, risk management, stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Real Estate Development, MBA, or Construction Management. PMP or similar project management certification. Experience with financial modeling, development feasibility studies, and investor reporting.
