We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data-driven products and services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data products and services that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect data products and services
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical product data models
  • Assist in process and performance optimization for data access
  • Database tuning and optimisation
  • Mentor less experienced software developers
Qualifications
  • Extensive professional experience in data product development
  • Experience in designing and implementing data products
  • Demonstrable experience in data modelling and tuning SQL query performance
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and efficient data design and access (ORM, JDBC, DAO, SQL)

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

  • Developing Healthcare or Life Sciences data products for regulated environments
  • Development using AWS, and associated proprietary AWS services
