Job Title: Senior Automation Developer

Overview:

Seeking a skilled developer to create automated scripts in Python for data validation and transformation. Focus on developing golden model simulations using SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated tests in Python to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and implement proper test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
  • Identify and track defects in data, documenting inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Test Automation, particularly with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, including frameworks YData-Synthetic, SDV, Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, DoppelGANger.
  • CI/CD environments and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with GE Plant Applications required; MS SQL Server experience beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Notes:

  • Candidates should be able to articulate SQL tables used in GE Plant Applications during interviews.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
