Printer Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced print administrator to manage and support Print Environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in desktop support and be passionate about providing reliable and efficient IT services.
About the Role:
- This position involves managing printers, plotters, and printing from a Mainframe.
- Mainframe to VPS to VPSX connectivity management.
- OCR - documents from Mainframe for optimal print quality.
- Software installation and upgrades activities including patching on print servers.
- Badge Authentication and badge issues resolution.
- Troubleshooting printer-related issues like driver installation, mapping of printers, print queues, and new printer requests.
- Hardware issue handling related to printers.
- Managing print services on the server including monitoring and validation.
- Leading vendor calls and managing enterprise print services using OMPlus and LRS VPSX for print job routing, auditing, and failover.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- OMPlus - Centralised job control and monitoring.
- LRS VPSX – Output management and delivery.
- HP Web Jetadmin- Device discovery, configuration, and firmware updates.
- Troubleshooting user print issues - print errors, Print queue issues, new printer requests, and connectivity problems.
- Print driver and firmware upgrades management.
- Operating System knowledge (Windows Server/Unix server).
