Job Title: Teaching AssistantDepartment: Information Management & Analytics

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to support the faculty and students in the Information Management & Analytics department as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant/Associate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Role:
    • Assist in preparing course outlines, pre-reads, and other teaching aids required by the faculty.
    • Take informal feedback of the courses.
    • Act as a point of contact between faculty and program offices to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
    • Upload course outlines and reading material on eKosh.
    • Create, conduct, evaluate, and share scores for quizzes, assignments, and exam papers under faculty guidance.
    • Assist faculty in resolving issues related to revaluation requests from participants.
    • Handle student queries regarding assignments, end-term, committee work, notes, etc.
    • Attend sessions and workshops.
    • Perform any ad-hoc academic work.
  • Administrative Role:
    • Coordinate classes scheduling for area/group faculty (internal and external).
    • Support conducting events and conferences of the department.
    • Maintain attendance records.
    • Create virtual links for all sessions and share details via Google Calendar to faculty and students.
    • Upload timetables and raise purchase orders on ERP.
    • Provide accreditation-related support.
    • Attend area/group-related meetings and briefings.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree preferably in Information Systems or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience as a Teaching/Academic Associate is an added advantage.
