Project Manager - Civil Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in project management and be able to coordinate with senior managers to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with senior project managers to prepare reports, charts, and project documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Design and Engineering: Coordinate design and engineering between different disciplines and perform clash checks for PEB, civil works, piping, ducts, and openings.
  • Scheduling: Prepare preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Cost Estimating: Assist in cost estimating, tendering processes, and tender documentation.
  • Bottleneck Resolution: Expedite and follow up on submissions, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
  • Project Tracking: Track and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or Master's in Construction/Project Management (M. Tech in CPM).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations.
  • Preferrred Skills: Basic understanding of cost estimation, tendering, and documentation; proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong coordination and follow-up abilities to remove bottlenecks and expedite progress.
