Business Development Manager Job Description

The successful Business Development Manager will spearhead initiatives to cultivate and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, interior designers, and high net worth individuals. This role requires a strong communicator who can develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across the product lines of natural marble, kalinga, terrazzo, and porcelain surfaces.

This position demands a proactive professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 8-15 years of prior experience within the building materials industry.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's product offerings within specified regions.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and market presence across these product lines.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Overseeing key account management to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing models that support business objectives.
  • Managing the sales process, from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
