Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our MV cables by monitoring and controlling quality processes throughout the manufacturing process. This includes conducting metallurgical analysis, routine testing, core drawing and strengthening, and external process management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Metallurgical Analysis: Apply in-depth knowledge of aluminum and aluminum alloy grades to assess material quality and performance.
  • Routine Testing: Conduct and oversee routine testing of materials and finished products, including mechanical, electrical, and chemical tests.
  • Core Drawing & Strengthening: Ensure the proper execution of core drawing processes, including the assessment of mechanical properties and the effectiveness of strengthening techniques.
  • External Process Management: Supervise and verify external processing activities to maintain product integrity and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in quality engineering and metallurgy, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the MV cable industry.
  • Strong metallurgical knowledge of aluminum and aluminum alloy grades.
  • Hands-on experience with routine testing methods applicable to MV cable manufacturing.
  • In-depth understanding of core drawing, strengthening processes, and external process management.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
