Job Description

The Packaging Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance of all procurement activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability to source materials efficiently.
  • Negotiating purchase orders and terms with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Issuing purchase orders and tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data.
  • Handling quality control reports, rejections, and replacements.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse and operations teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging or related field.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical and negotiation skills, familiarity with contract law and sourcing strategies.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
