About this Role:

You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes and supplier relationships as a Manufacturing and Operations Engineer.

With your expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and lean manufacturing, you'll drive efficiency and reduce costs.

As part of our experienced team, you'll collaborate to enhance product offerings and supply chain management, ensuring seamless integration of new ideas and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for vendor search and development
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize material costs and foster mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Establish and oversee manufacturing and quality control processes at contract manufacturers' locations
  • Procure raw materials and semi-finished goods for lifestyle products, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee the implementation of ERP and project management systems to enhance visibility and streamline workflows
  • Drive business operations initiatives, including certifications, pricing, logistics, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence
Requirements:
  • Ability to independently navigate challenges and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup
