We are seeking a highly skilled BIM modeler to fill a key role in our organization.

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing detailed building information modeling (BIM) models for public health projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintenance of 2-4 years' experience in engineering with a degree or diploma is required.
  • Expertise in Revit and Navisworks software applications is mandatory.
  • A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. BIM Development: Creation and management of detailed BIM models, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  2. Collaboration: Working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate various components into a cohesive model.
  3. Model Coordination: Ensuring model coordination and clash detection to identify and resolve potential conflicts before construction begins.
  4. Standards Compliance: Ensuring that all BIM models comply with relevant standards, guidelines, and protocols, including public health facility regulations.
  5. Project Management: Oversight of BIM workflows and processes, management of project deadlines, and timely delivery of BIM deliverables.
  6. Quality Assurance: Conducting regular quality checks on models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  7. Service Knowledge: Having decent knowledge about drainage, water supply, storm water, and fire protection services.
  8. Basic Design Knowledge: Understanding of public health & fire protection services is an added advantage.
