Job Description

We are seeking a skilled security professional to manage and maintain our web application firewall rules, ensuring the highest level of security and protection against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloudflare WAF or equivalent solutions and a deep understanding of web protocols, application headers, and TLS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Cloudflare WAF rules, page shields, and threat intelligence filters to prevent malicious activities
  • Tune policies to reduce false positives and enable protection against OWASP Top 10
  • Monitor web traffic anomalies, bot activity, and take preventive actions to ensure system availability
  • Integrate WAF alerts with central SIEM/SOC for real-time visibility and incident response
  • Collaborate with app teams to validate WAF configurations before production rollout and troubleshoot issues as needed
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloudflare WAF or equivalent (e.g., Akamai, AWS WAF)
  • Deep understanding of web protocols, application headers, and TLS
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and app security standards
  • Cloudflare Certified WAF Practitioner (if available) or equivalent certifications (CEH, GIAC Web Application Defender, OWASP Top 10 mastery)
