We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to spearhead our software development team. This is a pivotal role that requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing engineering team, driving strategic vision, tactical execution, and fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
  • Mentorship: Coach engineers to grow in both their current roles and long-term careers, providing guidance on best practices, technology advancements, and professional development.
  • Tech Collaboration: Collaborate with product, business, and leadership teams to align technical priorities with business objectives, ensuring seamless communication and cross-functional alignment.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evolve engineering processes, incorporating industry-leading methodologies, estimation techniques, and planning strategies to ensure best-in-class software development.
  • Hands-on Expertise: Work closely with engineers to design, develop, review, and troubleshoot code, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Service Delivery: Manage the delivery and operations of high-performance, scalable services, ensuring exceptional quality, reliability, and responsiveness.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, including building distributed systems and microservices, with strong proficiency in one or more languages (Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, C++).
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, driving growth, and improving organizational efficiency.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), designing and scaling consumer-facing platforms with high traffic and complexity.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor engineers across experience levels and collaborate cross-functionally with product and business teams.
