Key Job Functions

The IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT systems. This position requires a broad range of skills and expertise to provide comprehensive support across IT infrastructure, including end-user support, networking, servers, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
  • User Support: Handle user requests and incidents via IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
  • Account Administration: Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
  • Project Assistance: Assist in IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, security enhancements).
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of IT support/infrastructure experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
