Senior HSE Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HSE Professional to lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the HSE function at a manufacturing facility and ensure operations remain compliant with regulatory requirements, company policies, standards, and Global RCDMS.
  • Implement robust safety management systems and practices following local and global standards.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations, and permit-to-work system competency.
  • Collaborate with site medical officer to establish an efficient management system for occupational health and hygiene.
  • Ensure timely compliance with requirements related to the Factories Act, 1948, and coordinate with other departments.
  • Maintain site risk ranking at low, prepare and implement on-site emergency plans by periodical training, communication, and mock drills.
  • Regularly conduct various safety-related studies like HAZOP, workplace safety monitoring, noise pollution monitoring, dust hazard study, ergonomic study as applicable.
  • Sustain site operations safety by reviewing and ensuring timely submission of all monthly HSE MIS to relevant stakeholders.
Environmental Responsibilities:
  • Confirm environment management system infrastructure operation and comply with all compliance related to GPCB.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective operation of ETP, STP to meet consent criteria for effluent discharge.
  • Monitor solid and hazardous waste generation patterns and ensure proper segregation, storage, disposal, and recycle at premises.
  • Impart training and awareness for the same to involved employees and coordination with 3rd party for monthly environment monitoring.
  • Meet legal requirements for monthly and yearly returns related to the environment management system.
Security Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for site security management of Dahej plant and Vikhroli office.
  • Oversee access regulations and management of S-2 card system at Dahej plant and Vikhroli office.
  • Prepare site security plan and conduct various security drills.
  • Ensure adherence to Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) guidelines to maintain site SVA score well within threshold.
