Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our US night shift operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and be able to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoicing and Collections: Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP standards.
  2. A/R Management: Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions.
  4. Analytical Skills: Gather and organize information to analyze and improve A/R processes.
  5. Software Proficiency: Proficient in invoicing and accounting software.
  6. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Review and Verification: Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  8. Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  9. Vendor Relationships: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
  10. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  12. Financial Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  13. Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
  14. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
  15. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong active listening and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Comfortable working in US night shift.
  • Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
