Senior System Architect

At the heart of our organization lies a complex web of backend systems, requiring meticulous planning and execution. As our Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, design, development, and operational support of these critical systems.

  • Coordinate and lead system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with other teams.
  • Oversee incident management, implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.
  • Manage lifecycle management activities, including vulnerability assessment and capacity planning.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide regular reports on operational, incident, and change activities.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster high performance and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions and strategic initiatives.

Experience:

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in backend system design, development, and support.
  • Advanced skills in incident management, lifecycle management, and system reliability.
  • Strong experience with performance tuning, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of experience in backend system management and support.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial industry.
  • Knowledge of additional backend technologies or tools.
