Job Overview

This is a critical full-time role that involves day-to-day tasks such as troubleshooting, process control, and managing electrical and instrumentation systems. The engineer will ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and instrumentation used in thermal engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, etc.)
  • HMI/SCADA development
  • VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics
  • Sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan (preferred), and Excel
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts. They will also oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts
  2. Selection and specification of sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters
  3. Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems
  4. Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning
  5. Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site
  7. Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals
  8. Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems
