Regulatory Expertise for Food Export Markets

Job Description:

The role of a Senior Food Regulatory Manager is crucial in ensuring compliance with evolving global regulatory standards across domestic and international food export markets.

This position involves leading regulatory intelligence, monitoring, analysing and interpreting global regulatory updates to provide actionable implications for food businesses. Key responsibilities include understanding similarities and dissimilarities between national and international food laws regarding additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front of pack labelling, advertising claims and supporting digitisation of regulatory frameworks into the company's SaaS platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition, or regulatory affairs with a focus on international food export regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations, and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories, and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry, clients, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support digitisation of regulatory processes.
  • Industry understanding of trade policies, export compliance challenges, and regulatory impact on food businesses.
