Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Design & Development
    • Design and build robust, scalable, and high-quality data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Integration of structured and unstructured data from various sources into data lakes and warehouses.
    • Utilize Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure SQL Server for ETL/ELT pipeline development.
  • Cloud Platform Engineering
    • Operate data solutions on cloud platforms, integrating services like Azure, Snowflake, and third-party technologies.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture
    • Implement dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing techniques to support business intelligence and machine learning workflows.
  • Collaboration & Agile Delivery
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and C#
    • Proficient in designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms
    • Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Database Services.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security practices
    • Familiarity with data masking, access controls, and metadata management.
