Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Professional

As a skilled VDI professional, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtual desktop infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VDI technologies, including Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop, as well as related technologies such as hypervisors, networking, and identity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable VDI solutions, including defining high-level and low-level designs, capacity plans, and best practices.
  • Configure and manage VDI components, such as Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, and Machine Creation Services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, including those related to the hypervisor, client-facing issues, and underlying service dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for VDI administration and troubleshooting guides and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Optimize session performance, application delivery, and resource utilization for a consistent user experience.

Requirements:

  • Deep technical knowledge of VDI technologies and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in VDI administration, design, and implementation.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
