Workplace Standards Auditor and Trainer

The Responsible Mica Initiative is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Workplace Standards Auditor and Trainer. This role will support the growth of RMI's activities in India, focusing on strengthening RMI's support to upstream supply chain actors located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

  • About the Position:

    This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to bring about positive change in the mica industry. The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and will work closely with RMI's governance bodies, Executive team, members, and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

  • Missions and Responsibilities:

    In accordance with the decisions of the Board of Directors, the Workplace Standards Auditor & Trainer will support the Executive Team with the following missions: Supply chain sustainability management (80%), District level advocacy in Rajasthan (20%).

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Establish gap assessments of India mica processors and mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS) and the forthcoming RMI mining standard. Support processors and mine owners in implementing Corrective Action Plans (CAP). Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

    To be successful in this role, you will need excellent inter-personal skills, capacity to federate and embark. You should be able to demonstrate analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to work pro-actively and independently.
