Job Summary:

About the Role:

• We are seeking a Sustainability Specialist to join our team in this critical function.

• Gather and verify data from clients to ensure accuracy and adherence to established requirements.
• Conduct carbon footprint assessments (Scope 1, 2 & 3) and life cycle assessments (LCA).
• Prepare draft reports for carbon footprint, life cycle assessment, and ESG in line with industry guidelines and frameworks.
• Support organizational administrative tasks as needed.
• Continuously build knowledge of ESG concepts and associated frameworks.
• Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients.
• Manage outreach activities including cold calling and warm calling to generate leads.
• Identify high-potential leads and initiate engagement with prospective customers.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline regularly.
• Research industries and organizations in target markets to identify opportunities and drive sales initiatives.
• Conduct account mapping, understand buyer personas, identify key decision-makers, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
• Validate and qualify accounts before adding them to the pipeline.
• Apply independent research skills to source relevant information.
• Gain familiarity with and effectively use CRM tools.
• Provide additional administrative support to the organization as needed.
• This role requires working onsite at our office.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, M.Sc. in Environmental Science, B.E. (any discipline), or related academic background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in assessing and/or applying ESG standards and performance best practices.
