Spearhead Emerging Opportunities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and driving innovative business opportunities. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, market analysis, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Opportunity Identification & Landscape Analysis:
  • Conduct continuous scanning of the IoT ecosystem to identify emerging technologies and untapped market spaces.
  • Develop research reports on long-term trends and potential threats to our business.
Market Validation & Feasibility Assessment:
  • Design and execute validation processes for new opportunity hypotheses using primary customer research and competitive analysis.
  • Develop financial models to assess market size and potential ROI.
Strategic Incubation & Business Development:
  • Lead the incubation phase for validated opportunities, including defining product-market fit and building minimal viable products (MVPs).
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to accelerate the incubation process.
Ecosystem Engagement:
  • Build a network of external contacts to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.
Strategic Communication:
  • Clearly communicate findings and progress to senior leadership to inform strategic investment decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategy role within a technology context.
  • Proven experience in market analysis and managing early-stage innovation projects.
  • Deep understanding of the IoT technology stack and key market drivers.
  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills.

Preferred Experience: Taking a new product or business from concept through to launch.
