Job Description:

As an IPC Author, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, modification, and revision of Illustrated Parts Catalogues for various Airbus models. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Awareness of Airbus standards, tools, and processes.
  • Understanding and implementing the impact analysis to create content that meets change requests.
  • Experience working on SAP PCS for authoring IPC/configuration management/criteria analysis.
  • Ability to work independently on project details, supplier drawings, technical specifications for customers.
  • Performing technical analysis of modifications/configuration management.
  • Analyzing information and structuring it in an efficient manner.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Creating/ revising Illustrated parts catalogues according to Ispec2200 standards.
  • Preparing mockups for illustrators.
  • Adhering to quality procedures as defined in the quality system.
  • Reporting to project leaders on regular basis to anticipate project deviations, project progress, and internal/external problems.
  • Proactive coordination with customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Analysis: Perform thorough technical analyses of modifications/configuration management.

• Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with customers and suppliers.

• Project Management: Demonstrate ability to manage projects independently and efficiently.

• SAP PCS: Have experience working on SAP PCS for authoring IPC/configuration management/criteria analysis.

• Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality procedures as defined in the quality system.
