Job Title: Network Infrastructure Strategist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Network Team Lead with 6-8 years of experience in data center networking and 1-3 years of experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) specifically in private cloud & virtualization domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Architect, design, install, maintain, and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure including physical and SDN network framework.
  2. Evaluate and ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  3. Manage infrastructure documentation, collaborate with the team on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  4. Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical guidance, evaluate team members' performance, and provide feedback.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess risks, business impact, and provide recommendations.
  6. Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  7. Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including Proof Of Concept.

Requirements:

This role requires proven experience, hands-on technical expertise, and mentorship skills with a focus on compliance with business SLAs and goals.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer, etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching technologies, Quality of Service (QoS), Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, project management skills, and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in this role.
