Cloud Network Infrastructure Leader

Our organization is seeking a skilled Network Team Lead to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of cloud network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center networking with 6-8 years of experience.

The successful Network Team Lead will be responsible for architecting, designing, installing, maintaining and managing the equipment needed to provide cloud network infrastructure, including physical and software-defined network framework. This includes ensuring high availability, flexibility and network performance while maintaining service level agreements.

In addition to technical expertise, the Network Team Lead will also supervise a team of Network Engineers, providing guidance and mentorship as required. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for this role.

Requirements
  1. Data Center Networking Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining data center networks, including L2/L3 technologies, routers, switches and firewalls.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, security technologies, switching and quality of service (QoS).
  3. Software Defined Networking (SDN): Good knowledge of SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN providers – VMware NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista or Cisco.
  4. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of minimum 4 people, with strong project management and completion of complex network tasks.
