Job Title: Educational Leadership Specialist

The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional educational leadership specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and supporting state-level literacy initiatives, working closely with government officials, partners, and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of state-level literacy programs, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to state-level institutions, including the development of curricular materials, teacher training plans, and capacity-building workshops.
  • Foster partnerships with state and district education officials, government partners, and school administrators to advance program objectives.
  • Analyze data from reading assessments, classroom monitoring, and library ratings to inform program design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with MEL teams to design FLN-related studies, focusing on foundational learning and TPD.
  • Develop and refine sustainability plans for FLN post-NIPUN mission period.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Education or Social Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in state governments' reforms in literacy desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of language and reading practices, including national and international research.
  • Knowledge of early-grade reading assessments.
  • Experience in program design and log frames advantageous.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
