Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our Indian subsidiary's finance function. This role combines responsibility for managing the finance team with analytical support for our UK and international commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits of internal financial controls, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage all accounting-related matters, including financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk and optimize performance.
  • Responsible for procurement, inventory management, debtors and creditors, payroll management, and providing ROC compliances.

Commercial Analyst - Financial Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide daily sales reporting and analyze financial data to create/maintain financial models.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

Person Specification Including Essential Skills:

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years pharmaceutical experience.
  • International company experience and management skills.
  • Highly analytical, self-disciplined, and results-focused individual.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
