Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the portfolio details of various private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Updates pre-defined investor specific quarterly reporting templates to meet client expectations.
  • Analyzes fund performance by examining cash flows and financial reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Calculates fund valuation data, including investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.
  • Tracks operational KPIs and updates clients on a regular basis, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Creates and updates fund track records, reconciling data using cash flow notices to ensure accuracy.
  • Calculates fund multiples and IRRs, performing attribution and value creation analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Reconciles portfolio level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage, providing actionable insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate or equivalent degree in finance, economics, or related field.
  • 1-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with expertise in management reporting or operational finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Power BI and Microsoft Access is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work products.
  • Experience working independently, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes, procedures, or outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrate initiative in learning and taking on new responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in unstructured environments under minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with strong skills in Word and Excel.
