Job Title: ServiceNow SPM Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer with a strong understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and related integrations.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, contributing to developer tasks, and sparring with process managers and stakeholders.

You will work closely with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design to delivery of high-quality products to our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to developer tasks and sparring with process managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions using standard IT technologies and 4+ years of development experience in ServiceNow.
  • Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design to delivery.
  • Monitor day-to-day technical tasks to deliver them on time.
Technical Skills:
  • Development experience in SPM and related integrations.
  • Implementation of Demand, Project, Resource & Time Management sub-modules.
  • Strong experience in integration, data source, and transform maps.
  • Implementation of ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and data transformations to streamline processes.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ServiceNow functionality, performance, and security.
  • Implementation of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using web services, APIs, and other technologies.
  • Configuration of ServiceNow workflows and forms, scripts.
  • Creation and maintenance of ServiceNow objects like tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration, and customization capabilities.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • User management including groups, users, roles, ACLs, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining data integrations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Fundamental Requirements:
  • ServiceNow certifications
  • At least 4+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficient understanding of IT service management best practices
