Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Professional to oversee our company's financial operations. This position involves controlling and verifying financial transactions, reconciling account balances, maintaining a general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.

A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles. They will analyze financial reports and forecasts, and collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Plan, assign, and review staff's work
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) preferred
  • General computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Multitasking capacity
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
