Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the trade finance team, allocating resources effectively for smooth operations
  • Oversee the submission of all required MIS reports
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows
  • Ensure daily SLA and efficiency targets are met within available resources
  • Review and verify trade finance transactions, including import/export documents under LC, payments, collections, discounting, and settlements
  • Perform compliance checks and maintain high-quality standards in processing transactions
  • Ensure adherence to URC522, UCP600, ISBP, and other relevant banking regulations
  • Follow process SOPs and guidelines as advised by the client or organization
  • Maintain adherence to TAT/SLA requirements and deliver expected results efficiently
  • Check and authorize trade finance transactions based on assigned approval thresholds
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues proactively, resolving or escalating them as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of trade finance policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with trade finance products, accounting methodologies, and SWIFT message formats
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related applications
