Financial Affairs Manager
Manage the financial affairs of the organization, overseeing cash flow positions and related borrowing needs to ensure sufficient funds for operational and capital investment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks associated with currency and interest rates.
- Advisefinancial decisions on liquidity aspects of short- and long-range planning.
- Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures to control treasury activities and support regulatory reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of billing programs and maintain broker databases for trade clearance and counterparty risk management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain subsidiaries' capital structures consistent with business, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop strategic finance initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders, including rating agency presentations and M&A financing requirements.
- Complete special projects as assigned for presentation to senior management and external boards.
- Develop treasury reporting dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage excess operating cash to obtain optimum interest revenue and oversee electronic cash receipt and cash disbursement processing and accounting.
- Enhance and manage regional and corporate direct cash flow forecasting processes.
- Develop appropriate reporting and modelling capabilities to support short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting needs.
- Serve as primary contact with commercial banks and act as authorized signatory on bank accounts as needed.
- Monitor loan agreement compliance and oversee credit insurance programs.
- Identify and develop mitigation strategies for complex risks.
- Act as treasury liaison internally for leasing analysis of property, plant, and equipment.
- Develop and enforce strong internal controls and financial management policies.
