Treasury Role at Chemplast Sanmar Ltd

We are seeking a skilled professional for a Treasury role (Mid Senior level) at our Head Office in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in:

  • Corporate Banking: managing relationships with banks, interacting with hierarchy from Relationship Manager to GM level, and finalizing banking MIS on a regular basis.
  • Trade Finance: working with corporate banking products, documentation, compliance, exposure debt capital market, and import/export compliance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop healthy relationships with banks, interact with business teams, and facilitate timely exchange of information.
  • Prepare financial models, review cash flow, and provide analysis and recommendations on financial engineering.
  • Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions.

Requirements:

  • CA or MBA degree; exceptionally, CAIIB with banking experience may be considered.
  • Candidates should have good knowledge of Microsoft office, digital banking, and integration of banking transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reduce interest rates and bank charges through continuous improvement plans.
  • Review loan agreements and suggest flexibility options for the company.
  • Efficiently manage working capital by optimizing borrowing costs.
  • Pro-actively review cash flow and come up with solutions.
