**Job Description**: We are seeking a seasoned Process Director to oversee the development and implementation of complex process systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, with 18-20 years of experience in a consultancy organization or technical services department of a Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Lifesciences company.

The Process Director will be responsible for performing process calculations such as heat & mass balance, utility sizing for API, OSD and Biotech Projects. They will also prepare Pharma Process Equipment data sheets, conduct line sizing, relief load & PSV calculation, and review all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Calculations: Perform heat & mass balance, utility sizing for API, OSD and Biotech Projects.
  • Equipment Data Sheets: Prepare Pharma Process Equipment data sheets.
  • Design and Construction: Conduct line sizing, relief load & PSV calculation, and review all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize simulation software's such as HYSYS, ASPEN.
  • Document Creation: Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Layout Designing: Strong knowledge on layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech Projects.
  • Area Classification: Sound knowledge on area classification and man material flow concepts.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge on latest ISPE Guidelines and regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO etc.
  • Equipment Selection: Strong understanding of equipment selection criteria like Fermentation, Bioreactors, TFF, Chromatography, Filling Lines, etc.
