Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services in AWS. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
  • Use AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • 2+ years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • 2+ years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
