System Architect Lead

This is a highly technical and demanding leadership position that requires exceptional knowledge of distributed systems, complex system architectures, and the ability to manage scalable platforms as services.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable distributed systems.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in building, leading, and managing engineering teams.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL language.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Couchbase, Redis, MongoDB, etc.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • The ability to motivate oneself, quickly grasp issues, and make informed judgments in uncertain situations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with service integration using REST/SOAP over HTTP/gRPC.
  • Familiarity with actor systems like Akka.
  • Experience working on integration platforms like Apache Camel, Apache NiFi, MuleSoft.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Programming skills in Python, Lua, and GO Lang.

A successful candidate will lead a team of experienced software engineers, driving the design and development of highly scalable platforms handling large data sets and high transaction volumes. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and promote the platform.
